I was born and raised in Denmark and graduated from the Aarhus School of Business (ATA-approved) with a Specialized English Language Diploma. I first visited the US in 1987 and decided to get a science education as well. I went to Northeastern University in Boston and got my Bachelor of Science degree Magna Cum Laude in Geology. I then went to the University of Massachusetts, Amherst for my Master's degree in Geosciences, specializing in Geochemistry..
I have since travelled around the US and Canada and have lived in many states and a few provinces. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and I can't say I miss the Danish winters. I love biking, hiking and eating lunch in my back yard, feeling the sun on my face, even in January.
I am completely bilingual and bicultural. I love the US and call it home - but when it comes to food, nothing is as tasty as Danish cooking! If you have ever visited Denmark, you might have tried our Danish style sandwiches - unparalleled anywhere in the world.
